Standing Seam Metal Roofing.
Traditional standing seamed metal roofing.

A handsome, historic and most durable roofing, standing seamed metal roofing was the material of choice for all types of structures for more than a century, including barns, churches, covered bridges and public buildings. Paintable, lightweight and rigid, this material is remarkably versatile due to its ability to install over a range of surfaces and to meet a variety of design requirements. The economics and aesthetics of it are now again extremely favorable, and we have done installations on very high end new homes as well as the historic building types already mentioned. Our clients love it and we believe it is a material whose time has come. Almost any available roofing metal, including copper, terne and steel, can be used with relatively minor variation in labor cost. Our roll former can produce roof pans onsite that are the full length of the roof "run", allowing us to produce work with no horizontal seams. We have installed such pans as long as fifty feet.

We believe a building is only as good as the roof that's on it. For that reason, the Company has its own roll forming equipment that allows us to purchase rolls of material and form it to fit the client's buildings on the job site, whether the project is a new one or a restoration. We work with pre-painted material, Terne II, Copper, Galvalume, or Galvanized metals. We can form the necessary trim on site with our own 10-and half-foot brake, and when necessary we can hand seam difficult jobs. We can also solder the flashing joints on some roofing materials and install half round gutter and spout systems. Any notable structural investment should be protected by a lightning suppression system. We design such systems and install them using quality copper, brass, and stainless steel conductors. Several projects are shown below.
